Cracked, stained or failing stucco does not fix itself, and in Florida it rarely stays a surface problem for long. Kinetic Stucco Restoration repairs, restores and installs stucco and EIFS for homes and businesses across Sarasota County and the Gulf Coast. You get an honest assessment of what your walls actually need, and work done to a standard that holds up in this climate.
Kinetic Stucco Restoration is a veteran-owned stucco company based in Sarasota, serving homeowners, property managers and building owners throughout Sarasota, Bradenton, Siesta Key, St. Petersburg and Riverview. We handle the full range of exterior wall work: crack and water damage repair, whole-surface restoration and resurfacing, new stucco installation, EIFS repair and installation, and commercial projects on occupied buildings. Our owner, Eric, spent 22 years on active duty with the U.S. Army before bringing that same discipline to the trade, and the standards have not slipped since.
Most of the stucco failures we see on the Gulf Coast trace back to the same thing: water getting in somewhere it should not, and nobody catching it early. Salt air off the water corrodes the metal lath and fasteners behind the finish. Sun and heat cycle the walls open and closed until hairline cracks widen. Failed caulking around windows lets rain in behind the system. Our approach is to find the cause before we touch the surface, because a patch over a live moisture problem only hides the damage while it spreads. We tell you what we find, we price it clearly, and we do not sell work that your building does not need.
Five core services covering everything from a single cracked wall to a full commercial elevation.
Veteran-owned stucco contractors serving Sarasota, Manatee County & surrounding areas. Expert repairs, restoration, and installation built to handle Florida's sun, salt air, and humidity.
Spotted a crack? Call today. Small stucco cracks let moisture in, and early repairs prevent costly damage.
Veteran-Owned and Accountable
Eric served 22 years in the U.S. Army before founding Kinetic. You deal with the owner, not a rotating crew of subcontractors, and the person who quotes your job is the person standing behind it.
15+ Years of Gulf Coast Stucco Experience
Salt exposure, wind-driven rain and Florida sun break down stucco in ways that crews from other markets do not always recognize. We have been working on these specific conditions for over 15 years and we build for them.
We Diagnose Before We Repair
Moisture testing and a proper inspection come first. Patching over trapped water is the single most common mistake in this trade, and it turns a manageable repair into rotted sheathing and framing damage.
Stucco and EIFS Under One Roof
Very few Sarasota contractors handle both properly. Our masons are trained and certified for EIFS installation, so you are not left hunting for a second specialist when the wall turns out to be synthetic.
Clear Pricing and Clean Finish Work
You get an itemised quote before we start, with no surprises added at the end. We also match texture and colour carefully and can prime and paint the repaired area, so the finished wall does not advertise where the work was done.
Ring (941) 298-3562 or send a note through the site with a few photos of the problem area. We will ask what you are seeing, how long it has been there, and whether the wall is stucco over block or over frame, then book a time that suits you.
We walk the property, check the areas around windows, penetrations and flashing where water usually enters, and moisture test where the reading matters. You get a written quote that separates what needs doing now from what can reasonably wait.
Once you approve the scope, we schedule the work and keep you updated as it progresses. When the finish has cured and the site is clean, we walk the job with you before we call it complete.

Eric and his team represent perfectly why a stucco RESTORATION contractor is a better choice over a stucco contractor that simply handles superficial maintenance and minor cracks. With our stucco work, little did we know how deep the proverbial rabbit hole went. But Eric came up with a plan and executed perfectly. Eric was timely, maintained constant communication, and got the job done the right way - no corners were cut.![]()

Kinetic Stucco Restoration is a veteran-owned stucco and EIFS company based in Sarasota, Florida, with more than 15 years of hands-on Gulf Coast experience. Owner Eric served 22 years in the U.S. Army before turning to the trade, and he still runs every job personally. If your stucco is cracking, staining or simply looking tired, call (941) 298-3562 for a free inspection and a straight answer.
Which stucco cracks actually matter, and which can I leave alone?
Fine hairline cracks under about 1/16 of an inch are usually normal shrinkage and are not urgent on their own, though they still let moisture and salt reach what is behind the wall. Cracks that are widening, running diagonally from window and door corners, stepping along block joints, or showing staining and dampness are a different matter. Those often indicate movement or water already getting in, and they should be looked at rather than sealed over.
How do I know whether I have traditional stucco or EIFS?
Tap the wall. Traditional stucco is hard cement plaster over lath or block and sounds solid. EIFS is foam insulation under a thin synthetic finish and sounds hollow, and it usually feels slightly soft if you press it. This matters a great deal, because EIFS traps water behind it if it is repaired using standard stucco methods. We identify the system before quoting any work, and we handle EIFS repair with materials compatible with the existing assembly.
Why does stucco fail faster near the water in Sarasota and Siesta Key?
Salt-laden air is the main reason. Chlorides work through the porous stucco surface and attack the metal lath, fasteners and flashings behind it. As that metal corrodes it expands, and the expansion cracks and delaminates the stucco from the inside out. Salt also causes efflorescence, that chalky white staining, and pitting on the face. Coastal walls need more frequent inspection and finish systems chosen for salt and humidity, not standard inland products.
Can you match the repair to my existing colour and texture?
Yes, and it is a significant part of what we do. We match the texture by hand to the surrounding wall and blend the colour as closely as the existing finish allows. Be aware that aged, sun-faded paint will never match new paint perfectly on a spot repair. For that reason we often recommend coating the full elevation, or the full wall to its natural break line, so the finish reads as one surface rather than a patch.
Do I need a full restoration, or will a repair do?
A targeted repair is the right call when the damage is contained to specific areas and the rest of the wall is sound. Full restoration makes more sense once you are patching the same elevation repeatedly, once previous repairs have left a mismatched surface, or once the original finish is simply at the end of its service life. We give you an honest read on which one your property needs, including the cost difference over the next several years, not just today.
